YouthBridge-NY Newsletter

Bridge Fellows learn first hand about Youth grant-making and philanthropy for diversity and have created the YouthBridge - NY Fund for Multi-Ethnic Children and Youth Leadership Development Request for Proposals (RFP). Click here to download the Request for Proposals.

Throughout the year they distribute mini-grants to promote intergroup relations youth projects.

The 2004-2005 recipient was The Stepping Stones Ministries who run a project dealing with anti-gang violence.  The 2005-2006 recipient is Families in Transition who run a project that uses community-based outreach and the resources of a hospital to address the planning, mental health and legal needs of families with minor children and a chronically ill parent. This training is done in partnership with Rev. John Vaughn from the 21 st Century Fund.
