learn first hand about Youth grant-making and philanthropy for
diversity and have created the YouthBridge - NY Fund for
Multi-Ethnic Children and Youth Leadership Development Request
for Proposals (RFP). Click here to download

Throughout the
year they distribute mini-grants to promote intergroup relations
youth projects.
The 2004-2005 recipient
was The
Stepping Stones Ministries who run a project
dealing with anti-gang violence. The 2005-2006
recipient is Families in Transition who run a project
that uses community-based outreach and the resources
of a hospital to address the planning, mental health
and legal needs of families with minor children and a
chronically ill parent. This training is done in partnership
with Rev. John Vaughn from the 21 st Century Fund.
