Our History
YouthBridge-NY began as Bridge to Brotherhood in 1997, a collaboration among organizations serving Asian, Latino, African American, and Jewish youth. Following the exacerbated tensions and stereotypes minorities found themselves facing after 9/11, the program came under the auspices of the Center for Shared Society at the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York. We are proud to be celebrating 25 years serving NYC youth in 2026.
